Arrestation

Arrestation le lundi 16 juillet 2007 à 21 :00 GMT, de la citoyenne sahraouie, Mr. Aghleina Ment Barhah et son mari Mr. Mahfoud Akouirina. Le mari a été libéré alors que sa femme a été maintenu en détention. La police marocaine refuse de libérer cette femme avant qu’elle ne leur désigne la personne qui a recueilli son témoignage, sur l’agression dont elle a fait l’objet le 25 mai 2007, et l’a diffusé sur le net. Rappel: Mme Aghleina avait été agressée par la police marocaine, le 25 mai 2007, elle et son fils qui souffre de surdité de son oreille gauche. L’agence de presse « Associated Press » avait publié le témoignage de cette femme et de son fils. Ils avaient été arrêtés après une violation de leur domicile par la police marocaine suite à une manifestation pacifique qui avait eu lieu au quartier Linaache.

The Moroccan police arrested, Monday July 16, 2007 at 21: 00 GMT, the Sahrawi citizen, Mrs Aghleina Ment Barhah and her husband Mr. Mahfoud Akouirina. The husband was released whereas his wife was maintained in detention. The Moroccan police refuse to release this woman before she gives the name of the person who took her testimony on the aggression she was victim on May 25, 2007, and diffused on the Net.
We point out that Mrs Aghleina was attacked by the Moroccan police on May 25, 2007, she and her son who cannot hear any more with his left ear. The news service “Associated Press” published the testimony of this woman and her son. This woman and her son had been arrested after that their house was violated by the Moroccan police following a peaceful demonstration which had taken place at the Linaache district.[ASVDH]
